About the event:

Come and spend a magical day with the witch herself in one of the most magical spaces in Lancashire, Mama’s Magic & Mojo Shop. We’ll spend the day getting arty, crafty and witchy (probably a bit messy too!). You’ll be making lots of magical crafts that once made you can take home with you and enjoy, but not just that, you’ll be learning the history behind them all too! Each craft will have a magical meaning and purpose and you’ll be working through this fun and creative day as a group, this is going to be an extremely magical, creative and enjoyable day! You’ll be having a grazing style lunch with us (there will be a lot of food!), afternoon tea and drinks all day.

You will be doing the following:

⭐️ Learn about and make a traditional rowan cross ward for your home.

⭐️ Learn about and make traditional witches’ bells for your home.

⭐️ Make a beeswax candle and decorate it with herbs to take home with you.

⭐️ Make your own pinecone protection ward to take home with you.

⭐️ Make your own crow foot ward to take home with you.

⭐️ Make your own wax sealed charm bottle for abundance.

⭐️ Make a spell bracelet amulet to take home with you.

⭐️ Sigil creation and then forming this into a design to keep.

⭐️ Make your own protective rollerball perfume.

⭐️ Learn the history of poppets and make your own on the day out of clay.

⭐️ Learn to finger knit and make a witch’s ladder and learn the history behind them.

Background:

Sally (aka Mama Sal) is a British folk witch, rootworker and New Orleans Voodoo Mama based in Lancashire with Creole heritage, just around the corner from the famous Pendle Hill which was the site of the Lancashire Witch Trials. She is a bare foot in the grass, foraging, natural living, homesteading, nature loving kinda gal, born and raised as a British folk witch (Grandmother and Mother) and Creole rootworker (Grandfather) 47 years ago and has had the honour and pleasure of writing for, being interviewed for or working with some amazing companies, brands and media over the years such as The BBC, The Daily Mail, Fox News, USA Today, Reuters, The Walt Disney Corporation, Spirit & Destiny Magazine, Fate & Fortune Magazine and many, many more. Sally has been teaching all things magical since 1995 and has taught, created, spoken at and run over 750 workshops and courses.

Refunds:

We will however, offer you another place on another retreat and move your ticket if you need to cancel for whatever reason.
