About the event:

Come and spend a magical day with the witch herself in one of the most magical spaces in Lancashire, Mama’s Magic & Mojo Shop. We’ll spend the day learning the history and theory behind spellwork before we get stuck in and learn an entire army of spells to keep in reserve in case we ever need them. As British folk witches we work on both sides of the path so expect a vast array of different types of spells. You’ll be getting your hands down and dirty with candle spells, knot spells, jar spells, burnable spells, poppets, servitors, foot track spells, sigil work, bindings, wearable spells, edible spells and ending the day with a classic cow tongue spell. Our retreat days always include a grazing platter lunch, afternoon cream tea and drinks available all day. The shop itself will be closed to customers, so we will have the whole shop as our magical playground on the day! Tickets are strictly limited to 16 places only! IMPORTANT NOTE: Please bring something small with you that can be a vessel for your new servitor!

You will be doing the following:

⭐️ Learning about and cast a candle spell.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a knot spell.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a sweetening jar.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a sour jar.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a burnable spell.

⭐️ Learning about the history of poppets and make a poppet on the day.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a foot track spell.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a binding.

⭐️ Learning about and creating a sigil.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a wearable spell.

⭐️ Learning about kitchen witchery and making and cast an edible protection spell.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a cow tongue spell. THIS SPELL WILL INCLUDE A REAL COWS TONGUE AND WILL BE DONE IN 2 GROUPS.

⭐️ Learning about and cast a real heart spell spell. THIS SPELL WILL INCLUDE A REAL LAMBS HEART AND WILL BE DONE IN 2 GROUPS.

Background:

Sally (aka Mama Sal) is a British folk witch, rootworker and New Orleans Voodoo Mama based in Lancashire with Creole heritage, just around the corner from the famous Pendle Hill which was the site of the Lancashire Witch Trials. She is a bare foot in the grass, foraging, natural living, homesteading, nature loving kinda gal, born and raised as a British folk witch (Grandmother and Mother) and Creole rootworker (Grandfather) 47 years ago and has had the honour and pleasure of writing for, being interviewed for or working with some amazing companies, brands and media over the years such as The BBC, The Daily Mail, Fox News, USA Today, Reuters, The Walt Disney Corporation, Spirit & Destiny Magazine, Fate & Fortune Magazine and many, many more. Sally has been teaching all things magical since 1995 and has taught, created, spoken at and run over 750 workshops and courses.

Refunds:

We will however, offer you another place on another retreat and move your ticket if you need to cancel for whatever reason.
